Recurring tasks
Recurring tasks schedule token grants so you are not allocating by hand every week.
What a task does
Section titled “What a task does”A task grants tokens on a schedule - a weekly allowance to a user group, or a monthly top-up to a project. It is the automated form of tenant tokens.
Managing them
Section titled “Managing them”The list shows each configured task and the outcome of its last run, so a task that has been failing quietly is visible.
Each task can be edited, run now and deleted. Running one by hand is the honest way to test a schedule before trusting it - a task that fails on its first real run at 03:00 on Monday is a task nobody notices until Tuesday.
A sensible pattern
Section titled “A sensible pattern”Rather than a large allocation once, grant a smaller amount often. It bounds the damage from a runaway job while keeping users from hitting a hard stop mid-week, and it makes the spend visible as a rhythm rather than a cliff.
