Tokens
The resource usage on AiQu is partially determined by ‘Tokens’, a form of virtual currency for running jobs on the AiQu System. Tokens are used to schedule jobs and pay for storage.
The amount of personal tokens you have access to can always be seen in the lower left on the website (Note: Tokens you have access to through projects will not be shown here).
Tokens are distributed by the administrators of the system, either manually or automatically using a scheduled payment (i.e. all users will recieve X amount of Tokens per day).
When a user schedules a job, the cost is determined by: a start cost + number of GPU:s used + length of the job. How much the job costs per minute is determined by which queue the job is added to.
Tokens can be drawn directly from the users account, or from a project that they are a member of. To schedule a job using the project tokens the user can pick the project in the menu on the right from a drop-down before adding the job to the queue.
Tokens will also be drawn based on how much and what type of storage is used.
When a user’s Tokens run out, their jobs will be cancelled and they will be unable to store any more data in the system.
